Healthy Youth Development

The Women’s Policy Institute’s (WPI) Healthy Youth Development teams are sponsored by Building Healthy Communities, a 10-year, $1 billion program of The California Endowment. Fourteen communities across the state are taking action to create places where children are healthy, safe and ready to learn. The WPI Healthy Youth Development teams will advocate for violence prevention, school push-out policies, school based health/mental health and trauma informed services.
