Coronavirus : What We’re Doing to Respond

by Nicola

We are closely monitoring the rapid development of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) and its  impacts on our work together. We want to stay current, committed, and caring in all that we do. Like so many of you, we are adapting how we work and wanted to provide a few relevant updates:

Our Team

All of us on staff at Women’s Foundation California are working from home until further notice with accommodations being made as we recalibrate to remote work. While the physical office is closed, we remain available by phone, email, and Zoom.

As we navigate the continually changing landscape, we are also shifting to a four day work week to better support the mental health and wellbeing of our team. While the “shelter in place” ordinance is mandated throughout the Bay Area, we will be closing our virtual offices on Fridays to allow our team time and space to care for themselves and their families.

Our Partners and Fellows

For our partners and fellows, we want to emphasize that if COVID-19 is affecting your work, your organization, or your ability to execute on grant agreements or your Women’s Policy Institute fellowship, we are flexible, supportive, and here to help. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to Huong Nguyen-Yap, Director of Community Investments, or Marisol Franco, Director of Policy Programs with questions or concerns as you navigate these challenging times.

Our Network

Here at Women’s Foundation California we are following public health guidance and postponing in-person events, travel, and other activities until further notice. We know how important it is to remain connected and are exploring various options for virtual gatherings.
