Ivana Gonzales is an immigrant, domestic violence survivor and single mother of three. After her daughter’s incarceration at the age of 16, Ivana devoted her career to keeping families connected during and after incarceration. Ivana’s son also went into the juvenile system during the pandemic. Ivana was not allowed to hug or kiss her teenager and was limited to visits because of COVID. Ivana is passionate about changing CDCR regulations on rehabilitation making visits a part of rehabilitation.
