Kamika leads the WFC communications team and is responsible for increasing the Foundation’s visibility and recognition as a philanthropic leader and partner in advancing gender, racial and economic justice. She has experience in government relations and has worked in politics and as a journalist. Kamika earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from Syracuse University and a Masters of Journalism from the University of California, Berkeley, Graduate School of Journalism. She enjoys watching sports, playing golf, learning Spanish and lives with her partner in Oakland.
