Nakeya Bell (she/her/hers) was the Summer Leadership Institute Manager which is the Foundation’s Leadership program for young women and femmes leaders in California. Nakeya is deeply committed to addressing the heart of issues affecting girls, women, and femmes of color and is committed to cultivating spaces for youth to achieve, heal and lead!
A proud South Central, LA native, her love for her city inspires her every day to work hard by empowering youth to lead and make a change they want to be and see in their communities. Nakeya is also a proud wife and mama of two brilliant girls. She enjoys rest, cinematic adventures, brunch with her girl squad, and trips to the ocean with her family.
