CONTROLLER

The Controller participates as a member of the Finance/Operations Team with primary responsibility for the Foundation’s financial operations and administration. The foci of this position are financial planning, management and evaluation. Associated responsibilities include policies and procedures, daily financial management, monthly reporting and annual budget and audit. Under the general direction of, and in partnership with, the Vice President of Development and Finance, the Controller regularly makes independent, critical decisions on behalf of the Foundation. The Foundation’s annual operating budget is $7 million and its assets are $11 million. Learn about this position.

GRANTS MANAGER

The Grants Manager manages over $2 million in grants as well as the Foundation’s entire grantmaking process – from intake, proposal review, Board approval and award disbursement to the completion of grants, reporting and follow up. The Grants Manager leads the development and refinement of effective and efficient grantmaking processes for all of the Foundation’s grantmaking funds, and provides support and training to Foundation staff and members of donor circles, program consultants and grant partners to ensure the successful coordination and completion of each grant. The position is responsible for managing the Foundation’s grantmaking database MicroEdge GIFTS Alta, including creating and generating reports, maintaining accurate records, modifying the database, providing staff support and managing implementation of upgrades or integration of new modules.
