Criminal Justice Reform

Airam Coronado is chicana indigenous woman of Cora and Yoeme descent and the mother of a wonderful baby boy. Airam is the Program and Leadership Assistant at MILPA Collective. She focuses on facilitating decolonial cultural rights of passage groups for young women of color. Airam is a community leader who brings her lived experience as her expertise. Her unique training and experience has given her the opportunity to support her community of East Salinas through a cultural healing approach from the trauma and violence it has endured. Her priority is to end mass incarceration, build community people power, and address criminal justice issues that impact young women of color.
