Congratulations to Eveline Shen, executive director of Asian Communities for Reproductive Justice, a Women’s Foundation of California grant partner. Chosen as one of Women’s eNews’ 21 Leaders for the 21st Century, Eveline will be honored on Thursday, May 6. Under Eveline’s savvy leadership, Asian Communities for Reproductive Justice (ACRJ) is linking climate change and toxic work environments to women’s reproductive health. Her organization’s work has yielded safer conditions for 300,000 California nail salon workers and their customers, the closure of a polluting medical waste incinerator and the engagement of high school girls in greenhouse gas reduction. Check out the great profile of Eveline on the Women’s eNews website, and read on our website about our support for ACRJ. If you are in New York City this Thursday, see if there are tickets available to join Women’s eNews in honoring Eveline and other changemakers!
Congratulations Eveline!
