2nd Annual SF Pride Human Rights Summit

June 27

San Francisco Pride’s Human Rights Summit, hosted by the Commonwealth Club, is an annual event that brings together community leaders, activists, and organizations to address pressing issues facing the LGBTQIA+ community. The summit features keynote speeches, panel discussions, and breakout sessions on a variety of topics.

Our CEO Bia Vieira will participate in one of the panel discussions: Healing by Design: Creating Joyful and Safe Spaces for Gender Expansive Communities. Moderated by Bia Vieira, alongside Bamby Salcedo, President and CEO of the TransLatin@ Coalition, and J.M. Jaffe, Executive Director of Lyon-Martin Community Health Services, this panel will explore the experiences and lessons learned from building new spaces in LA and SF. Together, they will discuss how intentional design can create environments that support the healing and well-being of gender expansive individuals.
