Storytelling Circles: Part 2

May 24, 2022 @ 5:00 pm - 6:30 pm

A love and liberation practice

Storytelling is an age-old practice that can give us access to the fullness of our humanity, the wisdom of the lineages we come from, and our collective capacity to dream entire universes into being.

Join us for a two-part storytelling series inviting us to hold our collective memory and imagination as sacred places that can open powerful portals for healing. Led by Tannia Esparza, sessions will invite participants to ground in embodied practices, narrate who and what we love, name what we need and what we truly long for, remember the people who make us possible, and imagine the people we make possible in every decision we make.

Participants are strongly encouraged to bring a notebook and writing, coloring, and/or collaging materials to each session.

Tannia Esparza -she, ella/they, elle- is a storyteller and founder of GiraSol Descendants, a beloved community-making project, offering storytelling as a practice for building the world we need and deeply desire. In her consulting practice, Tannia offers a storytelling approach to healing-centered coaching, vision and purpose alignment, facilitation, program design, community building, and narrative strategy to local and national social justice efforts. They are a proud fellow and board member of The Center for Whole Communities. Tannia also loves offering embodied, spirit, and heart-centered support as a prenatal, birth, and post-birth doula.

This work is powered by you.

The feminist future we are building together in California is going to be built by all of us sharing our time, our money, and our skills.  Please consider contributing today.
