We are thrilled to announce our squad of twenty-six dynamic young feminists shaping California’s intersectional feminist future! Next week, our Summer Leadership Institute (SLI) will convene in beautiful Sonoma. This coalition of future changemakers is a testament to the multigenerational and multiracial legacy we are building together. As we gather in Sonoma with these young folks, we are cultivating spaces of joy, power, and belonging and forging connections that span across communities and generations, enriching our collective vision for the feminist future.

At SLI, participants explore self-care, art, poetry, and hone advocacy and leadership skills, nurturing storytelling that fortifies our movement across generations. This intergenerational approach is underscored by former SLI participants mentoring the new cohort, cultivating a community of inspiration and empowerment.

We’re still buzzing with hope as we envision a future where women and people of color lead our nation. The energy of this possibility fuels us as we embark on this journey with the 2024 SLI cohort. We are ever inspired by these bold young feminist leaders and look forward to building and learning with them this summer and into the feminist future.
