Aileen Arellano

Aileen Arellano (she/her/hers) is NARAL Pro-Choice California’s Southern California Regional Organizer. She came to NARAL from a background in electoral organizing. After graduating from UC Santa Barbara in 2020, Aileen returned home to Orange County, where
she spent the 2020 and 2022 election cycles working on races in competitive red-to-blue and purple districts. Most recently in winter of 2022, she finished out her role as a Deputy Organizing Director on Congresswoman Katie Porter’s campaign. Following the Dobbs decision in the summer of 2022, Aileen felt compelled to continue her work in organizing, this time in the fight for reproductive freedom. Her organizing work is rooted in the belief that community and care creates sustainable movements.
