Alicia is a daughter, sister, and organizer in Fresno, CA. Her early experiences growing up working class in California’s Central Valley motivate her to create leadership pathways for young people to build power and win critical resources for our families and communities. Alicia brings nearly 15 years of experience in youth organizing, electoral organizing, and campaign strategy. Since the founding of Power California in 2018, Alicia has built their youth organizing, policy and communications departments. She is currently Power California’s Executive Vice President leading membership, issue organizing, and C4 power building strategies. Alicia holds her Masters in Public Policy from Harvard Kennedy School and a B.A. from UC Berkeley. In her free time Alicia enjoys hiking with her pup Rio and is a budding gardener.
