Ariana Federico-Mondragon is the Interim Director of Organizing at Mid-City CAN, where she oversees the MCC’s Organizing Team campaigns, including transportation justice, juvenile justice, and youth organizing. She works closely with the transportation justice team, and their campaign to implement no-cost transit passes for all youth 24 and under. Previously, she was a Youth Organizer and worked with MCC’s Youth Council’s campaign on police accountability and transparency. Ariana Federico Mondragon is a community organizer, advocate, and child of Mexican-Otomi immigrants. She was born and raised in Southeast San Diego, and early on, she recognized the power the community holds to impact change. Ariana earned a B.A. in Latin American and Latino Studies and Politics from UC-Santa Cruz.
