Chloe Cheney-Rice is a Los Angeles native who currently serves as the Mental Health Therapist at the Anti-Recidivism Coalition in Downtown LA. She has three years of experience as a trauma-informed and client-centered therapist, working with people returning home from California state prisons. She utilizes a collaborative approach and focuses her individual and group therapy work on collective healing. She is passionate about clinical support as well as systemic-level change. At ARC, Chloe has supported the policy team by providing trauma-informed storytelling trainings, and participating in policy advocacy work which led to SB 1391 passing in 2018. As a social worker in the criminal-justice space and an advocate for the prison abolition movement, she is committed to the fight for a world in which justice and safety is accessible to all.
