Christine Smith (she/her) is an enrolled member of the Rincon Band of Luiseno Indians and the Public Policy Coordinator at the California Partnership to End Domestic Violence. Since 2016, she’s worked to advocate for the needs of domestic violence programs and survivors at the State and Federal legislative levels. Previously, she worked in Indian Country at the California Rural Indian Health Board and the California Consortium for Urban Indian Health. She received a Masters in Public Administration from the University of San Francisco and a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science with a Minor in Native American Studies from UC Berkeley. In her spare time, Christine is an avid knitter and soccer player. She loves spending time with her girlfriend, puppy and two cats.
