Clementine Ellis currently works as the Special Campaign Administrator for the Domestic Violence Fatality Project at the Lumina Alliance in San Luis Obispo, California, where she develops and implements gun violence awareness campaigns and activities. Prior to working with Lumina, she attended Agnes Scott College where she majored in Sociology & Anthropology. During her undergraduate studies, she also worked with the Atlanta Mission, and as a research assistant with the National Domestic Violence Fatality Review Initiative, connecting and training fatality review teams across the country. After graduating, she attended the University of Florida for Sociology where her MA thesis examined the impact of weight status on the likelihood of victimization by an intimate partner, synthesizing IPV and Fat Studies theories and literature.
