Donyà Saunders

Donyà, a Compton native, discovered her dedication to justice, community, and leadership early on, shaping her career in the nonprofit sector. With extensive experience at Girls Inc., she facilitated programs, coordinated services, and served as Program Director, impacting over 1,000 girls annually. Rooted in her upbringing and driven by a passion for equity, she transitioned to philanthropy, connecting BIPOC-led organizations with essential funding. However, encountering systemic inequities, she sought alignment with her values and joined WFC. Excited to contribute to eradicating injustice through community partnerships, Donyà looks forward to collaborating with her new colleagues and amplifying marginalized voices at the foundation.
