Erika Arreola

Erika Arreola is the community organizer for the Red de Defensa de la Primera Infancia [Central Coast Early Childhood Advocacy Network] in Monterey, Santa Cruz and San Benito. Through her experience, Erika has had the responsibility of helping families and children reach their full potential. She is an advocate for early childhood education and parent leadership. Her position gives her the ability to empower parents to participate in legislative visits, policy learning cohorts, and parent power summits. As a growing leader, Erika will take the knowledge learned in this fellowship to the families, so that parents contribute to the innovative development of community organizing to make sustainable change.
