Originally from Michoacan, Mexico, and raised in the Central Valley, Fabiola is committed to serving historically disenfranchised communities in California. She is currently a Senior Director at Richard Heath & Associates based in Fresno where she leads the implementation of large-scale energy efficiency programs designed to reach low-income customers. She has provided leadership on the development and execution of outreach and education efforts in support of multiple programs, especially around access to healthcare.
Fabiola DeCaratachea was previously the Communications Director for the Dolores Huerta Foundation where she led all communications programming and grant writing and oversees public-facing inquiries for DHF. She has 20 years of experience working in community-based organization and philanthropy, including serving as a previous Program Officer focused on the Central Valley for the Women’s Foundation California.
She is proud to be an immigrant and lives in the Central Valley with her family.
