Reproductive Health, Rights, and Justice

Guadalupe (Lupe) was born in Tijuana, Mexico and has considered Southern California her home since 1999. While completing her B.A. in History at the California State Polytechnic University, Pomona, she was determined to become a history teacher and work in disadvantaged communities. However, after getting involved in academic and extracurricular activities in Washington D.C., she became fascinated with the world of policy and diplomacy. Since then, she developed an interest in policymaking and has been determined to help the underrepresented sectors of society combat the challenges of the future. As a Community Organizer, Lupe helps advocate for better public transportation in City Heights. In her spare time, Lupe enjoys going to concerts, walking with her dogs, and reading historical fiction.
