Jazmin Ponce

Jazmin Ponce was born in Tehuacán, Puebla and raised in Watsonville, California she is currently the Community Engagement Manager for Second Harvest Food Bank of Santa Cruz County. Through her lived experience in being a first generation latinx student and growing up in Watsonville. She has seen and experienced the need of accessible resources in her community for all ages. She now has the opportunity to work closely with the community and empower youth and other community members in various aspects. She enjoys working and learning about other local resources and making sure all community member get access or learn about them. Jazmin’s primary focus is to listen to the community and respond in the best way she can.
