Jenna Haywood is the Associate Director of Community Mobilization at National Harm Reduction Coalition. Jenna collaboratively leads California statewide advocacy and mobilization efforts through legislative, budget, and grassroots base-building, informed by harm reduction providers and people who use drugs on the ground and through partnership with coalitions and community stakeholders. Jenna studied Human Rights Education at the University of San Francisco, with a focus on healthcare education that centers the experiences and wellbeing of people who use drugs. For nearly a decade, Jenna has been a community and political organizer, leading progressive political field campaigns, organizing around mental and medical health care for military veterans, and working in the labor movement fighting for racial and economic justice for healthcare and service industry workers.
