Jupiter Peraza

Jupiter Peraza is an undocumented trans woman activist, DACA recipient, and a Program Associate at The Transgender District. She oversees the program Housing Opportunities for Transgender Tenants and supports the organization’s leadership with civic and government relations. As an activist, her community organizing efforts are focused on immigrant rights and voter mobilization. Ms. Peraza has led community organizing efforts including a national phone bank program for President Biden and Vice President Harris, and organized a text bank that sent over one million text messages and mobilized her community to write 25,000 letters to the swing states of Florida and Michigan for the 2020 election. Ms. Peraza is currently a graduate student studying International Relations at San Francisco State University.
