As the Director of People & Experience (also known as DOPE), Kanitra Lopez plays a key role in advancing innovative ways to advance WFC’s vision. She is responsible for collaboratively aligning our core values and abundance framework with our human resources practices.Through Kanitra’s unique lens and two decades of experience in Education, Human Resources, Non-profit management, policy, and law, and in collaboration with WFC’s leadership team, she curates a vibrant culture of community, belonging, and joy that centers the wellness of our team.
Kanitra earned her B.A. in Communication from University of Southern California and J.D. from Southwestern Law School. She is a board member of the Northern California Employment Roundtable, and involved in the National Policy & Advocacy and African American Political Leadership Programs. Kanitra likes to cook, garden and travel, and resides in Roseville, CA with her family.
