Lucy Ngo was born and raised in Westminster, California. Her experiences growing up low-income, gender-queer, and with Viet monolingual refugee parents gave her the skills to advocate and navigate the cracks in different systems. Lucy found community through local and cultural organizing, fighting alongside other marginalized communities of color in Orange County along with the issues of gender justice, racial equity, and immigration. They are the youngest co-founding member of Viet Rainbow of Orange County, a LGBTQ+ non-profit in Orange County. Lucy works at Ahri Center, where his focus is on youth engagement and advocating for more resources for community members. Lucy enjoys working with youth and helping them pave their own pathway. Lucy is currently a Master of Social Work candidate at CSU Long Beach.
