Toya Vick

Toya Vick is a Peer Support Specialist and Participatory Defense Organizer for Starting Over, Inc. Through Ms. Vick’s lived experience and disparities, she is devoted to supporting those struggling with psychological trauma and mental health issues, substance abuse, self-esteem, and homelessness. She assists in empowering her community members that are facing criminal charges, their families, and loved ones to impact the outcome of cases and transform the landscape of power in the court system. An agent of change, Ms. Vick’s primary focus is to be the voice for the voiceless, arms and legs for the ill, disable, seniors, and the heart of the children. Her vision, example, and legacy are for all to follow towards humanity and true justice for all.
