Relief and Resilience Fund
Since March 2020, our Relief and Resilience Fund has moved new and increased funding to Women’s Foundation California grant partners and channeled funding to domestic violence shelters across California caring for survivors and families who are unsafe or unhoused. The racial, economic, and gendered impacts of COVID-19 are profound.
We’re committed to advancing a feminist plan for California’s economic recovery.
We realize now more than ever, it’s critical we make bold acts of solidarity, listen to and support organizations founded and led by Black women, transgender, and gender non-conforming folk.
The future needs a feminist plan driven by community power. Donate today and support an intersectional gender justice response to this crisis.
Rapid Response Grants
As the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic became clear, we gave an initial cash infusion of $3,000 to each Community Power Fund Grantee to support adaptation and response.
Domestic Violence Grants
We are working in partnership with Blue Shield of California Foundation to provide funding to 130 organizations who are responding to the increase of domestic violence across the state.
Civic Engagement Grants
Election years are important opportunities to share information about voter registration, education, and advocacy. It’s how we strengthen our democracy and encourage people to get involved.
Solidarity Grants
The impacts of white supremacy and systemic racism on the Black community requires us to put our money where our values are. We’re relentless in our mission to address racism through an intersectional lens while holding a longer-term vision affirming and celebrating the human dignity of black and brown lives.
Liberation Grants
These grants support California-based organizations building community power and advancing liberation beyond the election cycle.
