The Feminist Agenda: Community, Policy & Power

Wednesday, May 13, 2026
5 PM – 7 PM
California Museum, Sacramento

This is the feminist agenda in action: where policy meets community, and community becomes power.

Join us for an evening of celebration with California changemakers and our Solís Policy Institute State fellows whose work this year reaches into the places power ignores: protecting the privacy and safety of immigrants and the people who serve them, expanding midwifery care in the regions that need it most, and ensuring young people — especially LGBTQIA+ youth and youth of color — can access sexual health resources without barrier or shame.

Because justice is not made in the halls of power alone. It is made when people who carry knowledge in their bodies, not just their credentials, are given the tools, the platform, and the room to demand something different.

This is what feminist power looks like in motion. A gathering with purpose. A reckoning with vision: good music, small bites, libations, and the people already building the California we deserve.
Come hungry. For food, for justice, for each other.
