We invite you to attend the memorial service for Jing Lyman, which will be held in Stanford Memorial Church located in the middle of the Stanford Campus. The service will be on Monday, February 10, 2014 beginning at 2 pm.
Jing was a giant, not only in stature, but in forging new opportunities for women (and men) in philanthropy, enterprise and civic life. Her accomplishments were many. She was first Lady of Stanford, founder of Women & Philanthropy, organizer of the Association for Enterprise Opportunity, the Hub Program for Women’s Enterprise at CFED (Corporation for Enterprise Development), and more. Few people have contributed so much to build the social sector as Jing.

Below is information on parking, as well as directions to the relevant lot from the main roads into the campus. Once you have parked, if you are unfamiliar with the campus, pretty much anyone you ask should be able to direct you to the church (with is located at the epicenter of the original campus and is about a 5 – 7 minute walk from the lot).

Reserved parking is available at the Tresidder Union visitor parking lot (60 spaces – first come, first served) starting at 1:00 pm. The parking spaces will be marked “Lyman Memorial.” No need to purchase a parking permit at these designated spaces.
(Allow ample time to drive into campus. There is some construction on roads throughout campus, which can cause delays.)
Directions to the Tresidder Pay Lot:
Enter campus on University/Palm Drive or Embarcadero/Galvez Street.
Right on Campus Drive.
Left on Santa Teresa (after Stockfarm)
Right on Lomita.
Left on Lagunita which will lead to the Tresidder Union visitor parking lot.
The reserved spaces will be in the rows nearest Mayfield Ave. No need to purchase a parking permit at these designated spaces.
If the reserved parking spaces are full, purchase a permit for your dashboard (only until 4pm, since parking is enforced until 4pm only). The pay kiosk takes all forms of payment; no time limit.
