No Borders. No Binaries. No Silence. - Women's Foundation California

What we’re witnessing—ICE raids in our neighborhoods, arrests and militarized violence at protests—isn’t about public safety. It’s the choreography of authoritarian power: disappear people, target vulnerable communities, silence the dissent.

This isn’t chaos. It’s a strategy of suppression.
And still—we protect each other.
We take to the streets.
We refuse to be erased.

That refusal is not a threat. It’s a blueprint.

From protest to policy to mutual aid, we’ve always built power in more than one direction. And to meet this moment, we need every one of those pathways open—and organized.

We protest.
We fund our freedom.
We make policies that protect us.

The Dr. Beatriz María Solís Policy Institute (SPI) – State program is one of those tools. It’s a statewide fellowship training organizers, advocates, and everyday people to write and fight for the laws we need—from immigrant justice to gender liberation and climate resilience to reproductive freedom.

This Pride month, we remember that our movements are born from resistance—against police, borders, binaries, and silence. SPI carries that resistance forward, transforming it into long-term, collective power.

Applications are now open through Sunday, June 22.

This is how we fight.
This is how we build.
Join us.
