Celine Lopez is a visionary advocate who leverages resources to expand equity, support thriving communities, and create just futures for all. Born and raised in Stockton, Celine is a daughter of Mexican immigrants and a descendant of farmworkers. A fierce champion for justice, Celine has led several initiatives that build community power. As the Program Coordinator for Community Economic Empowerment at the San Joaquin Community Foundation, Celine engages community stakeholders in regional economic development planning, trains and assists local nonprofit organizations, facilitates collaborative thought partnerships, and designs tools and resources that address community needs.
Serving as Secretary of California Women’s List, she empowers feminist leadership and elects justice-driven women to state and local office to achieve gender equality in political representation across California. A first-generation college graduate, Celine obtained a B.A. with Honors in Urban Studies and Ethnic Studies from Stanford University.
