Chantille Tran, a native of Richmond, CA, currently serves as the RESTOR Program Manager, in the Youth Justice department at RYSE. In her role, she oversees the Restorative Justice diversion program, RESTOR, fosters and strengthens relationships with community partners and system stakeholders, engages and supports youth, and contributes to policy development and coalition efforts. She truly believes the power of diversion as it bridges and creates opportunities for youth to get a second chance, heal and get the supports they need, because if we don’t understand the need, how can we repair the harm? Before her current role, Chantille dedicated her time to educational and nonprofit organizations, where her work in these spaces, centered on advocacy and community, fuels her passion. Chantille holds Bachelor’s in Criminal Justice and Ethnic Studies with concentrations in Asian American and Black Studies, as well as an Associate’s degree in Psychology from Berkeley City College and Cal State: East Bay.
