TK Cross is an Oakland raised Mama, activist, organizer, artist of many fields and IMPACT advocate. TK pushes for systems change of the Welfare systems, Education, Housing, Justice and Healthcare system. But above all more support for mothers under the age of 18, who often aren’t able to access the needed and necessary services to become self-sufficient and often times abused in the process of attaining said services. A mama of three and an aunty to many. TK stands on the ideal of giving her family and community the same TK. As a black woman, the expectation of wearing so many different masks to make this world comfortable is simply unrealistic and tiresome, when the face that was given to us is just enough.
