The world is splitting at the seams. Power is consolidating. And young people — queer, trans, Black, Brown, immigrant, gender-expansive — are rising to meet it. Not with patience. Not with permission. With strategy, solidarity, and everything they’ve got.
For the past three summers, young people have gathered with us in Sonoma and proved what we already know: the next generation of movement builders is here, alive, and unstoppable. They come carrying anger, love, grief, and joy. They leave with a community, a toolkit, and the kind of clarity that only comes from being in a room full of people who refuse to let the world stay broken.
These are not small voices. They are architects of possibility. And now we’re calling the next ones forward.
Applications for the 2026 Solís Policy Institute Youth program are officially open.
SPI Youth is a launchpad for young women, trans, and gender expansive youth — especially BIPOC folks — who are ready to go deeper. It starts with a transformative 4-day retreat in person July 27–30 in Sonoma, CA, followed by eight months of phase two of our fellowship the virtual Feminist Learning Lab. A network of peers, mentors, and organizers who will have your back long after the program ends.
This is not a conference. This is not a workshop. This is a training ground.
You belong here if you are a young feminine or nonbinary person, ages 14–18, living in California, already in the work, and hungry to grow. Applications close April 16th.
Know a young changemaker? Get this in their hands. The movement is calling.
The world they imagine becomes the present we live in. Not tomorrow. Not someday. Now.
