For survivors of domestic violence, housing opportunities mean everything – it’s all about HOME.
Long before the coronavirus, our HOME cohort worked to improve the safety and economic security of women in California experiencing homelessness due to domestic violence. Break the cycle of violence and strengthen this vital work with a monthly contribution to Women’s Foundation California.
Right now, we have the opportunity to move our culture away from violence and towards safety. We can advocate for structural change in housing and domestic violence policies. Become a founding member of The Continuum and build the power of women-led organizations and movements creating this shift.
Over the course of the last few weeks, we have highlighted WPI alums, grant partners, board members, team members, and donors who each play different, but vitally important roles in this work. The Continuum is an invitation to do your part.
Together, we can rebuild a feminist economy, reshape our laws and our communities, and co-create real safety. Women and gender-nonconforming folks, Black and brown people, and those closest to problems are ready with the solutions we need to build a feminist future in California and beyond.
