Let's Show Up for Women's Policy Institute This #GivingTuesday

The Women’s Policy Institute Alum network shows up for each other. This year on #GivingTuesday we are showing up for them. #GivingTuesday is just days away and this year we are raising funds for our Women’s Policy Institute Alum network.

Across the board, our Women’s Policy Institute Alum have risen to the challenge of 2020 with care, connection, and vision – putting forward new policy, creatively organizing across local and online communities, and running for office.

WPI Alum Suely Saro became the first Cambodian American to win a seat on the Long Beach City Council! Suely’s victory is especially meaningful as Long Beach is home to the largest population of Cambodians outside of the country. Her win highlights the potential of a more reflective democracy and showcases the unstoppable power of our WPI Alum network.

We’ve been astounded by the tenacity and generosity of the Women’s Foundation California community throughout this incredibly tumultuous year. Let’s keep taking care of each other and investing in the success of our WPI family

P.S. Watch Suely (WPI Class of 2013) talk about the role WPI played in her run for office during our post-election call.

This work is powered by you.

The feminist future we are building together in California is going to be built by all of us sharing our time, our money, and our skills.  Please consider contributing today.
