Taking Care of One Another 💞

Our Women’s Policy Institute is built by people who have been through the program themselves. WPI Alum Marisol, Libby, and Elizabeth now lead our policy and training work at Women’s Foundation California.  They invest their time, energy, and attention across a network of feminist policymakers in California.

Will you match that investment with a monthly contribution to our work together?

Marisol directs our policy programs, Libby keeps our alum connected, and Elizabeth builds the local perspective. Each of them brings the skills they gained through WPI as they guide its next phase. Together, they nurture and scale this statewide community of strong, savvy, passionate leaders who are creating feminist policy solutions.

Invest in a thriving California built by and for women of color and gender non-conforming folks with a monthly donation to Women’s Foundation California.

Longtime community organizer Dolores Huerta once noted that, “We need a feminist to be at the table when decisions are being made so that the right decisions will be made.”  Marisol, Libby, and Elizabeth brought that feminist perspective as fellows and now it shapes their work stewarding the institute. Each of the fellows carry that ethos into the creation of feminist policy brimming with care and connection.

The current class of fellows is working to get more folks out of prison on medical release and reform a child welfare system to keep Black families together. Our WPI fellows write bills born of their own experiences that champion a California where we can all thrive.

Let’s take care of each other in how we make policy, share resources, and build community.

This work is powered by you.

The feminist future we are building together in California is going to be built by all of us sharing our time, our money, and our skills.  Please consider contributing today.

Together We Are Unstoppable.
