We are thrilled to join the Tamarindo Podcast to discuss the 2024 Election and share the exciting work happening at Women’s Foundation California! As a statewide, publicly supported foundation, we are deeply committed to achieving racial, economic, and gender justice. Our approach centers on the experiences and expertise of communities most impacted by systemic injustice, and we are proud to be a part of this important conversation.
In this episode our own Bia Vieira, the Foundation’s first Latine CEO, and Eunisses Hernandez, Los Angeles City Council Member and Women’s Foundation Board Member joined Tamarindo’s Delsy Sandoval.
Eunisses is a dedicated community organizer and daughter of Mexican immigrants who has spent her career transforming local and statewide policy. Since taking office as a City Council Member in 2022, Eunisses has championed a Care First agenda, which prioritizes investments in community care, workforce development, social services, and harm-reduction programs to create safer, healthier neighborhoods for all Angelenos.
We are excited to be part of the conversation and to highlight the powerful work being done to ensure a more just and equitable future for everyone in California.
